One of the stories that was born in this place
is that of the 'infernal train'. And it is that in the presidency of Eloy
Alfaro, one of the first locomotives that circulated around the Laguna fell
into the water and no one could be saved, that is why those who have camped on
Good Friday assure to hear the cries of desperation of the ' ghosts' who are
still looking to leave. In addition, on one side of the lagoon is a mountain,
where the panzaleos performed all their rites of war, and before going to face
the enemy in defense of their territory, they made rhythmic protocols of combat
with drums.
